T...I had a slight tendency to BPD as a young woman. Then too, the rage was to misdiagnose us: then it was 'multiple personalities' (a load of horse shit). And when you are young, you tend to believe the 'doctors' especially when they insist that you'll end up with a fragmented brain and ruining your future and family). (Francine Howland in New Haven, I am talking about you). Thankfully, I did research and was talked out of the fad by some wise friends and mentors. I can't imagine how traumatising it must be to be both misdiagnosed and physically altered or butchered. Al...Was it really surprising John made such errors? All I saw was the same self-righteous kid who learned to disguise his desperate, angry need to be right with hypocritical sanctimony and smugness. Cynical, and opportunistic, too. He was looking for the exact same “gotcha” shot that he (and those from his ideological “side”) decry people like Matt Walsh doing. If anything he’s just slicker, and even more dishonest in his appeal to the good. He said that if you could stop children's sincere pain and misery and prevent suicide, wouldn't any good parent do it? It, of course, depends on what the child is demanding. If a child demanded that a parent kill a new born baby sibling because it is making her feel miserable, no sane parent would do it. If a child demanded that the parent engage in sex with them because they were in terrible pain and suicidal, no rational parent would do it. If a child wanted to take addictive and dangerous drugs to relieve the misery of their boring lives, no rational parent would assent. The same goes for the irrational demands of attempting to change their sex through mutilation, no rational parent would do it knowing that no child has the reasoning ability to make such a terrible life-altering and life-endangering decision. His lack of the ability to use logic was most disturbing to me. Jay Raskinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13895996467533233549noreply@blogger.com
